This paper leads to pick the best possible method between VSCF (Variable Speed Constant Frequency) and CSCF (Constant Speed Constant Frequency) of Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) because of experiencing tremendous growth of this scheme in recent time. Besides, IGBT inverter has the demonstration of so called “short-circuit withstanding capability” which ensures the withstanding of severe condition by preventing large short circuit current. A speed control system which comprises speed controller, actuator model and the turbine linearized model is proposed which can be used to stabilize the frequency through speed control. Abstract
