Abstract

In recent years, the wireless sensor network (WSN) has become more and more popular, and the problem of WSN localization has attracted great attention. In non-line of sight (NLOS) propagation conditions, the localization is less accurate than in line of sight (LOS) propagation conditions because of the buildings between the mobile station and the base station obstruct the spread of waves. In order to make the location more accurate, in this paper, we propose an improved method to reduce the NLOS error based on Rwgh Algorithm. The basic idea of this method is to gradually eliminate the non-line of sight transmission situation, then positioning in the LOS propagation environment. According to the simulation result, this kind of method has better localization accuracy when compared with other methods.
