Abstract
Osteonecrosis of bone is a debilitating condition resulting from avascularity of bone. Bisphosphonates which are routinely used in treating bone disorders like osteoporosis and certain malignancies have been associated with increased incidence of osteonecrosis of bone, commonly affecting jaws.
