Abstract

This paper presents the design of the printed wide-slot antenna with parasitic strips. Additional resonance is introduced in the higher frequency region by using a pair of parasitic strips. The enhanced bandwidth is 103% which is in range 2.24 GHz to 6.91 GHz and which is simulated successfully. Thus, the obtained bandwidth is approximately 1.5 times the bandwidth than that in which parasitic strips were not used.
