Abstract

A simple and low-profile reconfigurable unit-cell design for Ka band reconfigurable reflectarray antennas is presented in this paper. The unit-cell is based on a single substrate and a ground plane that allows a simple fabrication process. One p-i-n diode is used to control the reflection phase shift with a step of 180°.
