Abstract

This paper proposes curbing peak demand during peak periods using consumer's priority-based load shifting. The response behaviour of each participant in DR is the vital factor of a successful solution to Demand-side management (DSM) problems in the power system. It provides consumption cost savings and smart utilization of electricity.
