Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian adalah Kelas IV di UPT SPF SDN Mamajang I dengan jumlah siswa 18 orang dan sumber data penelitian yang dipilih yaitu buku cerita rakyat Bugis-Makassar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1). nilai-nilai budaya lokal yang terdapat dalam cerita rakyat Bugis-Makassar sebagai upaya pembentuk karakter siswa kelas IV UPT SPF SDN Mamajang 1 yaitu penguatan nilai-nilai karakter dalam cerita rakyat dan penerapan budaya lokal yang sesuai dengan nilai kebangsaan. Beberapa penerapan budaya lokal yang diterapkan seperti budaya tabe’, pacce’ dan abbulo sibatang. Hal tersebut sesuai dengan nilai kebangsaan Indonesia yaitu nilai-nilai saling menghormati dan menghargai serta bermusyawarah. Adapun nilai-nilai yang termuat dalam cerita yaitu sikap peduli, bijaksana, berinisiatif, berhati lembut, hemat, bersyukur, sopan santun, tanggung jawab, musyawarah, gigih, sopan, pemaaf, sabar, toleransi, rasa malu, tolong menolong, cerdas, terbuka, berani, cerdik, kerjasama, patuh, empati, berani berbuat benar, patuh, bersyukur, baik sangka, ksatria, mawas diri, sabar, jujur, pemaaf, berhati lembut, dan terpuji. 2) penerapan budaya lokal Bugis-Makassar sebagai upaya integrasi nilai-nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran pada siswa kelas IV UPT SPF SDN Mamajang 1 yaitu a) menyiapkan buku cerita rakyat di kelas/dipojok baca b) membaca sekitar 10-15 menit, c) mengidentifikasi nilai moral yang terdapat dalam cerita tersebut, d) melakukan penguatan nilai-nilai karakter cerita rakyat dan penerapan budaya lokal yang sesuai dengan nilai kebangsaan.\nThe study aims to determine the values and application of local culture contained in the Bugis-Makassar folklore to form the character of the fourth-grade students of UPT SPF SDN Mamajang 1. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and Conclusion Drawing/Verification. The results showed that 1). local cultural values contained in the Bugis-Makassar folktale as an effort to form the character of the fourth-grade students of UPT SPF SDN Mamajang 1, namely strengthening character values in folklore and the application of local culture in accordance with national values. Some local cultural practices are applied, such as tabe', pacce' and abbulo sibatang culture. This is in accordance with the Indonesian national values, namely the values of mutual respect and appreciation and deliberation. Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui nilai-nilai dan penerapan budaya lokal yang terdapat dalam cerita rakyat Bugis-Makassar sebagai upaya pembentuk karakter siswa siswa kelas IV UPT SPF SDN Mamajang 1. Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian adalah Kelas IV di UPT SPF SDN Mamajang I dengan jumlah siswa 18 orang dan sumber data penelitian yang dipilih yaitu buku cerita rakyat Bugis-Makassar.
