Abstract

Recently, incidents in which window washers have fallen during jobs have been reported in Taiwan. If a robot could replace manual window washing labor, accidents would be prevented and window washing costs would decrease. After rain, a certain amount of water remains on windows; consequently, if a robot existed that could automatically wash windows directly after rain, window cleanliness would be maintained and unnecessary manual labor costs would be reduced.
