Abstract

High efficiency interleaved boost converters (IBC) are required to interface the low voltage input to high power load like fuel cell vehicle, hybrid electric vehicle and photo voltaic applications. This paper analyzes the effect of coupled inductor on the performance of three level IBC (TLIBC). The duty cycle of the IBC is varied by proportional –integral controller. Converter circuits were simulated by MATLAB and the outcome confirms that IBC performance has been improved.
