Abstract

Suicide caused by hereditary problems is a form of deviation committed by individuals as a way out of problem-solving that are faced and become an example is imitated by other individuals. The interest in this study is the existence of suicide due to heredity. Suicide which is usually closely related to economic, social, and mystical phenomena such as pulung hang/pulung mine and beliefs about vanaspati has turned into a psychological issue when associated with heredity problems, or in psychology, it had referred to as a sociopathic phenomenon. This research aims to determine the social motives underlying suicide, influencing factors, and community participation in tackling suicide cases. This research was conducted in qualitative research methods with an interview, observation
