Abstract
The results of the study of the intensity and depth of the hardening that occurs during vibration treatment by measuring microhardness are presented. Improving the quality of the surface layer leads to increased wear resistance, metal fatigue resistance and, consequently, to increased reliability and durability of machine parts.
