Abstract

Attention is given to a portable telephone system using direct-sequence spread-spectrum multiple-access and binary phase-shift keying (BPSK) with coherent demodulation. The system has several pairs of base-portable units for each user. Instead of being concentrated in a central point, the base stations are distributed in an area.
