The conditions under which this replacement is possible for nonlinear coils used in parametric voltage stabilizers of ferroresonance and parametric nature are analyzed, and the value of relative errors arising during this replacement is estimated. The estimation of the error due to the lack of consideration in the solution of all harmonic components of the nonlinear current is made. Abstract

The approximations of the magnetization curve by incomplete polynomials of odd degree and the active loss curve are discussed, and also an estimate of the error in these approximations is provided in the article.
