Remote sensing and geographic data enable collection, analysis, and processing of global observation data for civilian and military applications. This document provides an overview of GeoAI methods in urban planning, including the definition of GeoSpatial Artificial Intelligence and the distinctions between GeoAI and traditional AI. Different types of geospatial data satellites are also depicted.
