Abstract

In this paper, we propose a safety alert system based on LoRa(Long Range) communication, where the communication takes place in the range of kilometers. Because of the long-range, the low power consumption, and the long battery, our proposed system can continuously operate without disruption. In India, It is recorded that average of 87 rape cases daily in 2019 and overall 4,05,861 cases of crime against women during the year, a rise of over 7% from 2018, the latest government data released on September 29, 2020[1].
