Good gain characteristics is achieved by incorporating a backward pump and optimizing the configuration of the Single-Stage L-EDFA. the power conversion efficiency is equal to 22%, the gain value is 25dB, the noise figure is less than 4.6dB, and the saturated output power is 21.5dBm.
