Abstract

In future, share of generation from Renewable Energy Sources (RES) is going to be increase. Demand side management will be playing vital role in renewable energy supplied microgrid. In building and residential kind of loads electric springs provides support to voltage, power and also reduce energy storage. It can be embedded in electric appliances such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning loads and energy thermal storage system. The demand side issues significantly minimized with implementation of electric spring in such micro-grid. This paper gives brief review on Demand Side Management (DSM).
