Abstract

In this paper, interference power variation at a base station receiver in a CDMA system that supports integrated services is investigated. It is demonstrated that even under perfect power control conditions, the supporting of multi-rate/service users in shared channel will cause the interference power to vary significantly causing unpredicted delivery for services.
