After 6-8 days the right lung showed slight subpleural areas of atelectasis and edema. Edema of endothelial cells of the lung septal capilaries was observed electron-microscopically. Abstract
The outflow from lymphatic vessels running along with the right cardinal bronchus was interrupted in six dogs by the removal of the corresponding hilar lymph nodes.
