Abstract
This was possible in an enterprise that operates on the basis of traditional approaches. The forecasts of the Munich Ifo Institute experts on the timing of overcoming the crisis on the basis of analytical data of the German economy are outlined. Despite the weakening of competitive positions in the market of a number of companies, it was emphasized that such transport companies as Nova Poshta and Delivery managed not only to maintain their competitive positions, but also to increase cargo turnover compared to the previous period. Considerable attention in the article is paid to the challenges that have become relevant due to the spread of coronary heart disease COVID-19 in logistics. It was done by describing the following key elements: exit from the market of weak players; growing demand for the “groupage cargo” service; development of outsourcing; contactless courier delivery; development of “autopilot” deliveries; introduction of digital duplicates; a company’s attitude to the remote working conditions of their own employees; compliance with sanitary norms by logistics companies; conducting logistics activities in an online format. In addition to the concept of logistics, the author considers the essence of the supply chain, in particular, reflects its development in 2020. Without taking into account the pandemic factor based on the degree of integration and regional coverage in the following scenarios: the world of digital networks, the world of networks, the world of local individualization, the world of special innovations. The main indicators by which the submitted development scenarios were assessed were identified, namely: customer requirements, flow of materials and goods, knowledge, level of competence in the supply chain, risks, social sustainability, and partnerships. The world leader among these four segments is the world of digital networks (53%). At the same time, taking into account the negative consequences of the pandemic, the following main links of supply chain development are presented: transparency in the supply chain, stocks availability, realistic end-user demand, and optimization of production and distribution capacities, identification and maintenance of logistics capacities, cash flow management and working capital management.
