F-retention from a 1:1 oleylamine-cetylaminefluoride rinsing solution (15 ml. 15 sec) was 410 mjg F, from a sodium fluoride rinse 343 mug F. 563 mug F were retained from a 30-sec amine fluoride rinse. Fluoride clearance was significantly slower after cetylaminefluoride rinses than after NaF rinses.
