Abstract

In this article, we design a lossless analog transmission type phase shifter using a novel and original optimization approach in MMIC technology. The selected phase shifter structure consists of a MESFET with series resonant impedances including varactor diodes and we present simulated results in the [3,5-4,5 GHz] band. Thanks to the flexibility and efficiency of the CAD methodology, excellen results have been obtained even with a small number of MMIC components.
