Abstract

Suspension is one of the important parts of automobile which has a great influence on the comfort of riding, the stability of handling and the control of vehicle's posture. With the simple two degree of freedom of a quarter of the simplified model of automotive suspension, we use the fixed-gain control and the adaptive control to design the controller. Making use of the MATLAB simulation, the scientific data shows that the adaptive control has a better effect.
