This article mainly aims to provide the design process of the IoT system using some open-source platforms such as Arduino microcontroller, backup-and-sync-from-google desktop application, Firebase API, C# programming language, WhatsApp API, and MIT App inventor. All of these are integrated to become an affordable IoT-based monitoring system. This system can provide a monitoring system that can show data in two different end-user devices. Some features that this system can provide are visualizing, processing, and analyzing the data.
