Blockchain Certificates for Pedigree Management

Abstract

Certificate management has greatly benefited from Blockchain technology in a variety of businesses for many reasons. Educational institutions use Blockchain to manage degree certificates for its reliability, immutability, provability, etc. However, there are some requirements in certificate management that are needed to address, e.g., the certificate ownership that can be transferred. This article designs a new blockchain certificate management with NFT technology for Brahman cattle pedigree certificate system in Thailand. The system can address the transferable ownership of certificates, effectively. It also addresses issues of Brahman pedigree and family tree. Moreover, the whole system is designed and implemented without use of external databases. All operations are done within Blockchain.
