Abstract

The electroretinographic response (ERG) of the Drosophila melanogaster eye was recorded in different illumination conditions. A analog/digital conversion system and adequate software was used to process information for quantitative interpretation. The electroretinographic parameters that were comparatively studied, in different light intensities and colors, were the latency time and the adaptation time.
