These days weather prediction has modernized along with new technologies, modern approaches involve model-based-forecast based on multiple sources of past data, observations and information. With growing technologies, Artificial Neural Network (ANN) has gained a huge importance in forecasting field due to its adaptive and flexible approaches. ANN has led to many weather forecasting techniques with significant results. This paper provides a survey of various neural network methodologies, approaches and architectures used by various researchers for weather forecasting.
