Abstract

The non-uniformly spaced sparse array antenna can save a lot of cost, and adopts the method that the antenna array element is thinned on a certain aperture to realize the array design, and can obtain higher gain through fewer antenna array elements, thereby achieving higher resolution which in turn simplifies the structure and reduces the cost, has therefore become a hot topic of research. This paper proposed genetic algorithm to analyze the optimization characteristics of uniform and non-uniformly spaced sparse array antennas for millimeter wave.
