It examines the quality of governance, coordination between relevant stakeholders, and follow-up efforts in relation to good governance practices. Changes in governance are essential to ease the transition away from financial dependency on oil. This study analyzes the components of the Saudi governance model according to World Governance Indicators. It includes initiatives taken to apply governance principles across the public and private sectors. It also elucidates the extent to which public entities in Saudi Arabia foster good governance in terms of accountability, political stability and absence of violence, government effectiveness, regulatory quality, rule of law, and control of corruption. Abstract
