Abstract

The recognition system of license-plate can improve the traffic situation. Sometimes the image of license-plate isn't clear, and some characters are difficult to identify. By image fusion, the clarity of license-plate can be improved. Because the ratio of standard character is unchanging, it is used to identify characters. First obtaining character from image of license-plate with segmentation technique, then match it with standard character. At last, characters can be identified. According to these ideas, a complete recognition system can be built
