Abstract
The article defines and describes the essence and characteristic features of design and research detail aimed at the formation of health-saving competence of high school students. The analysis of the concept of “design and research activity” is carried out. The age-related psychophysiological features of the senior school age are considered as an important condition for the effective use of design and research activities in the formation of competence.
