Abstract
The interaction of seismic and acoustic wave fields generated by a seismic vibrator in the problem of active seismic monitoring of preparation zones of natural disasters (earthquakes, volcanoes, etc.) is considered. It is shown that a consequence of this interaction are processes of interference of seismic and acoustic signals, which lead to considerable variations in the fields of amplitudes and phases of seismic oscillations in time and space. Such variations cause large errors in the estimated parameters used as informative ones in such problem. Recommendations on how to avoid such errors are given.
