The conventional PI controllers are the most useful controller in industries until now. But it gives the poor performance under various operating conditions and for non-linear mode as compared to FL controller. The simples FLC is easy to develop but it sometimes cannot use in motor application and also needs automatic tuning. It takes more time and memory space while running on real time application. So to overcome this problem, Hybrid Fuzzy - PI controller is proposed. In the proposed system Fuzzy controller is tuned with conventional PI controller by using only 21 Mamdani linguistic rules.
