Abstract

In this paper we present the idea of fiber optic time and frequency distribution system with tapping nodes along the link. We describe a principle of delay stabilization in tapping nodes and a procedure for calibration of time signal delay. Initial experimental results show TDEV below 1 ps for averaging time approaching 105 s, and calibration error below 25 ps in various lengths of fiber sections.
