Abstract

Election campaigns for the election of deputies of the State Duma from 1993 to 2016 are considered. The results of parliamentary elections, electoral behavior are analyzed. The dynamics of electoral absenteeism is traced. The changes in the electoral legislation aimed at finding the most effective electoral formula for the election of parliamentarians of the lower house of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation are investigated and analyzed.
