The aim of this paper is to treat in detail the famous electromagnetic solvers such as High Frequency Structural Simulator, Computer Simulation Technology (transient and frequency analysis) and Advanced Design System (momentum and schematic) software. The simulated results of the S-parameters for the considered power coupler from three different simulators (HFSS, ADS, CST) are discussed and are compared according to their magnitudes and phase factors; A comparative study on the performance of these simulators performances is presented. Abstract

Radio frequency system design is based on the simulation accuracy and require precise prototype. Simulation software has been widely used in a view to enhance experimental investigation. This powerful software assists users by providing them with highly accurate and reliable results. Indeed, a precise modeling is necessary to determine the adequate correction to increase the accuracy results.
