Abstract
This paper proposes XPM-induced noise mitigation by gain saturated parametric amplifiers to improve signal-to-noise ratio (SNR)in coherent WDM fiber transmission systems. We employ semi-analytical scheme to estimate the SNR considering the XPM-induced phase noise.
