GSM modules and a SIM have been used in order to hook it up to the GSM network. Both hardware and software of the developed prototype are fully functioning and the tests have been successful. Abstract

This paper presents a design of moving message LCD display system (MMDS) via short message service (SMS) entry using Rabbit 2000 microcontroller. The objectives of the project are to design and integrate the hardware and software that interface the RCM2000 microcontroller, GSM module and LCD module in order to create MMDS.
