Abstract
New interesting analytical solution in theory of scattering by Perfect Electric conductor (PEC) cylinders in ferrite media is presented using spectral technique based on the scattering matrix. The problem is considered as a 2-D electromagnetic problem assuming no field variation along axis of cylinders. In this method a global scattering matrix will be defined which it has all the information concerning the electromagnetic behavior of all the scattering object. The validity and accuracy of this method is verified by comparing the numerical results with those given in the literature and simulation results with COMSOL.
