Abstract

The aim of this contribution is to present an experimental study of the thermal behavior of tubular linear machines. The thermal behavior of these structures is less studied as compared to other topologies (radial flux rotating machines, axial flux rotating machines, and flat linear machines). It is to contribute filling this gap that this study has been conducted. Along with the experimental study, a thermal model is established in order to identify thermal parameters.
