Abstract

A mathematical model of scalar hysteresis in a ferromagnetic medium is formulated. The model is based on the concept of complex magnetic permeability, including analytical expressions like the Fröhlich functions. The initial data of the complex permeability obtained from the Preisach hysteresis model. The features of the algorithm taking into consideration hysteresis phenomena in the harmonic balance method are formulated. Influence of the hesitating behavior of the solution is taking into account by the sign of the derivative of the main harmonic which determines the branch of the hysteresis loop.
