In addition, the superior cyclostationary noise property of the Colpitts VCO can be used to improve the phase noise. The proposed VCO is implemented in 0.18µm CMOS 1P6M process. The core VCO only dissipates 1.05 mW with 1V supply. Abstract
A Low power gm-boosted differential Colpitts voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) using current-reused technique is presented.
