This paper analyzes the problems and development trend of intelligent distribution transformer terminals in the new situation, based on the development of virtualization technology; it gives the terminal development proposal for realization of independent hardware and software environment through container technology. In addition, it analyzes the virtualization requirements of intelligent terminal. Finally, customized develops the software platform to adapt to the intelligent distribution transformer terminal. Abstract
