The influence of different micro-texture positions and shapes on the cutting force of titanium alloy drilling is seriously lacking theoretical and experimental basis. To solve the problem, this paper study the drill performance of pit and groove texture distribution at different locations. The ABAQUS finite-element method software was used to simulate and analyze the drilling process of titanium alloy. The simulation results show that the groove texture on the flank tool surface can reduce the cutting force most effectively.
