THE PROBLEMS OF URBANISM IN RUSSIAN CITIES, THEIR COVERAGE IN THE MEDIA (ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE ROSTOV REGION)

Abstract

The article contains publications reflecting the processes of urbanization in the region. The paper analyzes the materials of the electronic media of the Rostov region “Notepad” and “161.ru” from 2018 to 2021. In particular, the article highlights the features of materials devoted to the arrangement of cities in the region. The authors put forward a number of persistent problems related to the development of urbanization. All of them are considered into groups of ecological, economic, political nature, as well as problems of housing conditions, housing and communal services, city architecture. The electronic media pay special attention to the problems of communal areas, which also have an impact on modern urbanization processes.
