Abstract

The issue of software development productivity with new technology has increasingly become an important topic within our corporation. However, with the increase in size and complexity of software, and the continuous demand for developers to deliver software within tight schedules, developers cannot readily afford to take the extra time needed to learn and incorporate new technologies into their development process. The paper introduces the concept of a "Process Warehouse" whose aim is to aid in the efficient introduction and transfer of a particular target technology into a software organization.
