Abstract
This article evaluates the current situation regarding the development of Intelligent Agents. First, it introduces and explains in detail all of the defining characteristics of an agent, and how each trait separates an AI from a normal software code. Then, this article examines what Intelligent agents must possess in order to be successful, and outline the main problems that it faces.
