Abstract

The modified method of the actuator faults estimator design for the continuous-time linear MIMO systems is treated in this paper. Based on the sliding mode state estimator the problem addressed is indicated as the approach giving necessary and sufficient condition for design. Lyapunov inequality implying two linear matrix inequalities from are outlined to posses a stabile solution for the optimal parameters in the prescribed estimator structure. A system model based example is presented to illustrate the properties of the proposed design method.
