About 10.0% of the MBBS students were not satisfied with the teachers, and they thought that the teachers usually paid attention to their own lectures and ignored the students' responses in the class. Meanwhile, 93.3% of the students had interest in problem-based learning (PBL) teaching method compared to the traditional teaching method.Although about 43.0% of the students mastered epidemiology knowledge well, 30.4% of the students did not fully grasp the basic concepts of epidemiology. \n \n \nConclusions \nThe traditional teaching mode is not completely applicable to epidemiology teaching for MBBS students. Abstract

Objective To explore the effect and potential problems of the traditional teaching mode on epidemiology English course for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery students and attempt to propose the targeted recommendations and solutions. Methods To comprehend the satisfaction and recognition of the students about new teaching methods and the teaching effect based on the traditional teaching mode during the teaching practice of Epidemiology in English among MBBS students in Tongji University. 临床医学专业留学生流行病学教学效果分析
目的探讨传统教学模式在医学学士和外科学士流行病学英语课程教学中的效果及存在的问题,并尝试提出针对性的建议和解决方法。方法在同济大学MBBS学生的英语流行病学教学实践中,了解学生对新教学方法的满意度和认可度以及在传统教学模式基础上的教学效果。结果高达16.7%的学生对传统的教学方式不满意,认为课堂气氛单调。大约10.0%的MBBS学生对老师不满意,他们认为老师通常只关注自己的讲课,而忽视了学生在课堂上的反应。与传统教学方法相比,93.3%的学生对基于问题的学习(PBL)教学法有兴趣。虽然约43.0%的学生较好地掌握了流行病学知识,但仍有30.4%的学生对流行病学的基本概念没有完全掌握。结论传统的教学模式不完全适用于MBBS学生的流行病学教学。更合理的课程结构和新的教学方法对弥补传统教学的不足具有重要作用。关键词:流行病学;教学方法;临床医学;外国学生
