Abstract
In the article on Antonio Mancini, by Christian Brinton, in the Detroit Museum of Art bulletin for April, this phrase occurs: "The intermittent welcome accorded him by the Carnegie Institute, and the meagre representation vouchsafed him at the Panama-Pacific Exposition, are thus far the only signs of official recognition which he has found in our midst."
